Anyone know if this Bravia and this LG TV are good (Can’t find online reviews!)?

I really want to get one of these 2 TVs, but I can’t find any reviews on the web (other than user reviews). For example, CNET has not reviewed these.

Anyone know anything about these and does anyone think it’s a bad idea getting a TV that hasn’t been officially reviewed anywhere on the web?

1) Sony Bravia 46″ 1080p LCD HDTV** (KDL46V3000). This is a great looking TV from Best Buy in Toronto and its only $2,000. Only problem is that it has 2 HDMI slots and not 3. CNET just a has a product description and says that it has not had a hands on with it.

2) LG 47″ 1080p Widescreen LCD HDTV** (47LY3D). This TV is avaiable at Future Shop stores in Toronto (they are like Best Buy) and it is called a “Future Shop Exclusive TV”. This is probably the reason I can barely find any information online about it. Being a model that is only at Future Shop, I am concerned about whether its maybe a dud model or something. Looks incredible though and its only $2,000.

Thanks for any information.

I watched ther super bowl on this exact Sony at a friends house-it’s a great set. I have the 40″ 720P version, and I’m very happy with it.
I suspect the Sony is a higher quality set than the LG.
