Does the Gigabyte GA-G41M-ES2L Mobo supports PCIe 2.0 x16?

It says it does, in every description of it online, except in the Gigabyte website where states this:

1 x PCI Express x16 slot, running at x 16 (The PCI Express x16 slot conforms to PCI Express 2.0 standard.)

And, yeah, i’m not sure what they mean by that.

Then i saw this user review on newegg and there was a guy complaining over this, 1 out of 62 thought.

This is the only thing keeping me from buying this board, since i’m planing on building a budget gaming pc for my nephew, and i’m looking forward to throw a XFX 9600GT in it.

Thanks in advance, and sorry for bad english.

  1. Jack says:

Yes it does. Conforming to a standard means it supports that standard. PCI Express 2.0 is the same thing as PCIe 2.0.
