XFX 9800GT 1GB vs HIS IceQ HD 4850 512MB?
Hey guys i want to buay a gaming card and am gone crazy after reading so many reviews and cant make up mind so i need some help.
Here are my options from local market, online purchases from newegg, amazon, ebay are not available in my country.
XFX 9800GT 1Gb Price 14,500
Inno3D 9800GT 1GB Price 11,000
HIS IceQ 4 HD 4850 512MB Price 13,500
GTS 250 512MB Price 14,500
Please tell me from the above options which is good now and would hold good for year and a half more. 9800GTX is not available in the market here. From wat i have read i have come to following conclusions
9800GTX = GTS 250 < HD48500 < 9800GT = 8800GT
The guys in the market are telling me that GTS 250 / 260 are having heating issues despite slot coolers after a game play of hour or 2. (We have temperatures now days of 48C)
So please tell me which one is good to buy and How many games will have an edge due to PhysX driver (whatever the spells are)
Thanx a lot guys in advance for ur tips.

14500 what USD if USD that is way too pricey and not worth it but if you want one of those the HD4850 is nice and 9800GT is best of those

These 2 will perform the same. Between the 2, get whichever is cheaper (inno3d — plus, it comes with a free game).

these 2 perform better than the 9800 GT’s, but their performance goes head to head.
If you don’t mind the lack of PhysX (Radeons use the Havok engine), go for the HIS 4850, otherwise, its a very small price to pay for the GTS 250.
Here is a list of games using Physx engines:
